Here's a short recap of our Fall. I hope to go back when I get home from China and add some detail, but here's a quick rundown. We bought a truck. James played his first 9 holes of golf with Randy and chipped one in. Grandma Robyn gave the boys nice new shirts and little future missionary tags and they looked too cute to not throw a pic in. James caught a fish. Randy got a hole in one at a charity tournament and one a prize. Our biggest September event was that our dear friends, the Brodegards, came from Georgia to sell they Minneapolis house (Randy was their realtor) and stayed with us. We did a lot of fun things. The zoo (3 times), biking to parks and swimming spots, Stephanie helped be do some yard landscaping (pictures on my phone- which got wet and so I no longer have. Randy went up North with his dad and helped build an addition on the cabin. The highlight for me was we borrow Robyns van so we could all fit and drove up and camped in Duluth. Randy drove from the cabin to meet up with us the first night. The next day we drove to scenic Bayfield, WI and took a car ferry to Madeline Island, at the foot of the Apostle Islands. It was really pretty, and just a fun climax to our summer. Stephanie's husband Bill flew in just in time for a quick weekend all together-(biked to an apple orchard and enjoyed Randy's company family day) and then Randy and I took off to,,,,(next post)
