Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Thompson

My parents just left this morning after a visit for Owen's blessing and to help us paint several rooms in the house (my Dad single handedly did most of the painting.) They are so great. They painted, stripped wall paper, babysat, cooked... We were so spoiled. We did squeeze in a few days at the cabin for a little break for them. It was sad to see them go, but I'm sure they were ready for a little r & r, and a real bed. Though they aren't going to get it. They're rushing home to go camp for a week with the youth from church. You'd never guess they're 70 ( my dad celebrated his birthday here) from the way they trot. They just bought land and are finally going to build the dream ranch that's been talked abt my entire life as well. Like they say, 70's the new 60. Or maybe 50 even.
