They were pretty desperate at work for the month of August, so I agreed to fill in a bunch. I actually only worked abt 30 hours last week, but it sure felt like more. On Monday I thought, "I can see why women go back to work full time- this is really nice to feel capable and have adult conversations." By Wednesday I thought, " is it seriously only Wednesday? It feels like it's been a month." By Friday I was lucky if I went to the right patient, I was so tired. I hadn't realized how much I was surviving thru naps. James just won't sleep past 5:30 or 6 am.
We were SO lucky to have Stephanie come to town to be our 'Super Nanny' she got James to take naps in his own bed without climbing out, happily pour water on his head, and taught Owen to take a bottle. James (and the rest of us of course) adores her and Grant. He and Grant played together so well. He was so sad they were gone this morning. Thanks Steph for making the transition into working as pleasant as possible.
