Cabin

We've gone up to the cabin several times in the last month or 2 because the weather has been just so perfect. We've had friends come up and join so we usually spend a few days hay wagon and 4 wheel riding, swimming and sauna-ing with them, then stay another day to get firewood chopping and beach smoothing and trail making done- which is actually just about as fun. James sure loves it. Here's a shot of him fishing. For some reason he initiated that it was his roll to give the fish a punch once they were pulled in. He called out proudly to me on the dock "I smack the fish!"
Owen loves it too, but sure does make us work on the ride up. He hates riding in the car and spends the whole time fussing unless you really entertain him- then he's just on the verge of fussing. It's strange- he's happy to sit in the car seat or bike carrier, but once it starts moving there's abt 80% chance he'll be crying before you get to wherever you're headed. Motion sickness? He's a cutie though.
