Grandma's Camp

We just got back from a trip down to Florida for Grandma's camp/ Wendy's wedding. It was such a great vacation. I got so spoiled having a house full of baby experts that were happy to walk around bouncing Owen. He seems to be doing better since cutting out dairy products (thanks to those who recommended it.) It's still hard to say though, because I've been pretty diligent for about a week with a few minor slip ups, but he was still really fussy again yesterday. Today was great though, so I'm hoping for the best. Grandma's camp was great-it's definately a more fun event when you have kids. James LOVED it. He was in heaven with all those cousins around. about half way thru he got sick and in his docile, fevered state he just kept saying "law you (aka, I love you) Mommy, law you Daddy, law you Kids." The drive was long but fun, until the last 3 hours on the way home when both the boys fell apart. We read a book to James about what to do when you get lost and decided he should know his full name and parents names. Well now he says James Kannas very clearly, and also walks around calling us Chrissy and Randy Kannas. He has so many moments where he is so precious- though I do have to say an increasing number of crazy tantrum moments as well. We sure feel blessed to have our wonderful boys. We've got a good life.

' The epitimy of Grandma's camp. Each toddler has their own bag of potato chips. A child's paradise.

Like I said. It was so great to have so many helping. Here's Debbie 5 months pregnant with their first.
That's a lot of offspring. Probably the last time we'll all be in one place for a long time.

We spent a day swimming and mud bogging led by Sage and Troy. It was really fun. Troys brother made this himself, can you believe it?
We did a breakfast cruise before the wedding. It was really fun. Doesn't Wendy look beautiful. It was the first time we met Daniel or his kids, and Wendy's first time meeting his parents.
On the way down we spent the weekend with our best friends the Brodegard's in Keokuk, Iowa (somehow I have no pictures) then on the way back we went to Saint Louis and spent time with Rita's family and the Brodegards again. A great finish to the trip.
