First Birthday

It's so amazing to me to think that James is already a year old. That has always seemed so old to me. I do have to say I think it is my favorite age so far (of course I think I've probably thought that at about every age landmark.) He loves to play chase, and catch. His favorite thing to do is walk while you hold his hands as he chases and kicks a ball. He has 2 teeth coming in up top. He likes to try and feed himself  with a spoon but most of the food ends up on his face and hands. His favorite snack (and my favorite to give thanks to it's no mess-ness ) is string cheese. He loves to "garden" (unfortunate for my plants.) He brings us so much happiness and entertainment. We are so greatful to have him in our family.

James probably would have gotten nothing but a few extra kisses for his birthday if it weren't for Granda Robyn. She invited us and a few of our close friends over for an amazing dinner, followed by birthday cake. It was all so delicious and beautiful. They gave James a swing as well for us to hang outside. They are so wonderful.
