Hanging out

Well, 3 days overdue and no baby news yet, though I am sitting on the couch here trying to ignore the contractions I'm feeling because I'm excited to go on a birthday date with Randy. We've had a really fun week. Stephanie and her kids Grant and Darcy are here to help watch our kids for the birth, and enjoy a bit of Minnesota summer. Day before yesterday we biked nearly 3 miles over to Hiawatha playground and James rode his own bike the whole way. It was our first time trying it and he did great.

Today we met up with some friends after the gym for a fancy "Wendy's" lunch. Liz Wortley brought lite sabers for each of the boys as my bday gift. Stephanie got us water toys and water bottles. Funny how your life evolves to a gift for your kids being the perfect gift.
