Owen has had a rough week or 2. I must be eating something that hurts him because he is clearly in pain. He was very happy and comfortable for 2 or 3 days straight and I thought we were in the clear, but today again was hard. Maybe a reaction to dairy products? I'm finding that to be a really hard food group to eliminate..
On the bright side, it's sure not slowing down his growth. By his 2 week check up he had already grown another inch and was up to 11 lbs.

They are so adorable. Thanks for the cute pictures. :)
I'm sorry to hear that he is in pain. I'm guessing that means that you are super tired with trying to soothe him. And I can't believe how big he is! I'm pretty sure the little pants I sent were probably too small for him the day he was born. I made some for Graham and he is only 10 pounds and has already outgrown them.
We still need to FaceTime sometime when you aren't too exhausted or busy with 2 kids.
Hey Chrissy! I just read about Owen being uncomfortable. Not like this is necessarily his issue, but I've had to go dairy free for Avery and now Mazie. With Avery, she was 6 weeks old before we figured it out. She was really gassy, had blood in her diapers, and had a rash that covered her head. It was different for Mazie. She was only a couple days old when she started having problems (really fussy, explosive poops, extreme gas, difficulty burping, stopping and crying while eating, crying for a couple hours at a time). When we saw that all happen, I went of dairy again (very reluctantly) and within 24 hours, there was huge improvement. After 72, we were taking care of a different baby. I've been dairy free for 7 months and, while it's not fun, it really isn't that difficult. You'd probably be surprised how many of your meals are already dairy free. Just sub SmartBalance with Flax for butter and Original Rice milk for milk (it bakes the best of all the options). Cut out cheese, yogurt, cream, sour cream, ice cream (sad!), and you're good to go. I know, it seems overwhelming. But believe me, if it works, you'd rather be dairy free than have a miserable baby. We just wish we knew this when Taryn was a baby because we didn't figure out that she was allergic to milk until she was 10 months old. She could have been SO much happier!! Wow, that was a long post. Any way, read this on my blog: http://www.laughingthrumotherhood.blogspot.com/2011/12/time-passes-too-quickly-mazie-at-two.html
