#1- He LOVES balls. Yesterday at the store we decided to buy a larger bouncy ball. As soon as I handed it to him, he wouldn't let me take it back. He cried when I handed it to the cashier to check out and he had to carry it all the way to the car- well with me co-carrying it because James realizes balls are for throwing and spent the entire trip across the parking lot trying to throw it to me.
#2-He loves to balance. Especially when he has an audience. He puts his hands up above his head while he does it and doesn't mind the hard fall then he looses it.
#3-He loves to climb the stairs and especially to slide down on his belly as fast as possible. I felt pretty good about the whole thing because it now lets him cruise around and be more autonomous, until he started combining tricks #2 and 3. There is nothing scarier than watching from a distance to make sure your child doesn't fall down the stairs only to have him try and balance unsteadily with his hands above his head BECAUSE you are watching.
