We're back in Minneapolis! We are living again in Robyn and Ron's house (they fled to Florida as soon as we got here, but swear we shouldn't take it personally.) On the 23rd we are scheduled to close on a new house. I know most of you are saying, "what? I thought you guys just bought a house..." Well, interest rates are super low and it is going really well renting the other one out so we figure we'll dapple a bit in the real estate business. Here is a shot of it below. It's not as big as our other house was, but it's located right on the parkway and the creek and bike path are right across the street in front of us. It's walking distance to the light rail, and close to the golf course (perfect for cross country skiing) and Lake Nokomis (for a nice loop to jog.) Since we spend most of our time outside, we are super excited about this house.
Randy is liking his new job so far. He is called a microelectronics 3D CAD engineer. In short he designs circuit cards that go into hearing aides. The fall leaves are beautiful. It's been great to see our friends again. We are glad to be back.

Is it terrible that James is my living toy? He is so cuddly in his Halloween costume. I make him wear it around even though it's not even halloween yet. He is so fun.

Since being back in Minneapolis I have filled in a little bit at work. We've worked out a great system with a friend in the ward, Kat Rane and her daughter Julia, who is twice as old as James, but not nearly as heavy. She is this light little angel that cruises around while James admires her. I watch Julia when Kat works (she is a professional ballerina), then she watches James when I go in a few hours a week. We've done it a couple times so far, but already he is becoming a little more clingy. I think it's good for him to have some social interaction.
It makes him appreciate me more.

Already benefiting from the double stroller.

The house looks great!!!! Congrats on that.
Your timing is impeccable. :) Skip the summers in MN - I hear they're awful.
Wonderful pics of your sweet boy. And congrats on the house. :)
I love the pics of James and Julia together! Thanks for sending them to me. I'm happy to babysit any time:)

Wow, the house is beautiful... inside and out and the view too. Your boy is sooo cute. did G'ma Kannas make the costume? He is precious.
