For one of the first times ever we just stayed put for a 3 day weekend, and it was so much more fun than we could have imagined. The weather turned beautiful and we spent Saturday doing some firsts for James. A little golfing practice in the morning, then his first bike ride. We decided to just strap his car seat into the Chariot, and it worked great. We did about a 14 mile ride out to a BBQ place right on the W&OD trail. Yeah! We can bike again. It's amazing the feeling of freedom it gives us. James did great.
On Monday we drove down to Burke Lake Park and did a 5 mile jog around the lake and then played frisbee golf, followed by a picnic from Ron's new favorite place Chipotche..Chipolte...Chicoche.. How do you say it again Ron? It's amazing how much more I like that place just since he came. A new name can really revamp a place.
