So, for my sister Carrie's 40th birthday she's decided to save the world. She's building a well in Africa and volunteering a ton. She also organized a service trip to an orphanage in Jamaica, and I got to be part of it. I got to use my PT services a bit and we spent a ton of time just reading to and loving the kids, blowing runny noses and doing all we could to avoid getting "da pink eye" that was spreading rampantly among the children and staff alike (which we all did successfully by the way and were allowed on the plane to fly home.)
Of course it was after I told a group of kids to be careful not to touch their eyes and wash their hands often they all immediately rubbed their eyes. All 3 of them had pink eye the next day.
While Chrissy was helping those in need in Jamaica I spent my time in St. Louis helping my dad add a room in the basement of my sister's house. Not near as glamorous I know. But I try to keep up with my wife.

Wow Chrissy. You are so cool. You are always going on adventures. I love it! When's your next "adventure" to Utah? I hope sooner rather than later!
I'm so glad you have a blog...otherwise how would I know you are helping your sis save the world? I need to get in on some of that action. Looks like such a fun trip to Jamaica. Cute, cute kids.
I love your pictures from Jamaica. That is so cool you did that. I'm glad that we found your blog. Now we can be blog buddies, joking.
